Lemon and Honey Stir-fry Recipe
Recipe : Lemon and Honey Stir-fry
Ingredients :
2 tsp sesame oil
1 medium onion, cut into eights
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp chopped chili
1 tsp chopped fresh ginger
1 tbsp honey
8 cups sliced vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower,
zucchini, pumpkin, green beans, fresh asparagus, snow peas,
mushrooms, capsicum)
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
Method :
Heat oil in
a wok or large non-stick frying pan and cook onion for 3-4 minutes.
Add garlic, chili, ginger and honey and toss well to combine. Add
vegetables and stir-fry until vegetables are just tender - about
10-12 minutes. Combine stock, soy sauce and lemon juice and pour
over vegetables. Increase heat to high and toss ingredients together
until vegetables are well coated. Serve with steamed rice.
Hint: You
can vary the vegetables used for this dish. It's a good way to use
up small leftover quantities - but only if they are still fresh.
Wilted produce will give a poor result.
