Stir Fried Pork and Noodles Recipe
Recipe : Stir Fried Pork and Noodles
Ingredients :
250g fine rice noodles
2 cloves garlic
2 red chilies
1 tbsp peanut or macadamia nut oil
1 medium onion, sliced
300g lean pork steak or pork fillet, cut into strips
6-8 cups sliced vegetables (capsicum, broccoli,
celery, cabbage, beans, asparagus, mushrooms, cauliflower, carrot,
zucchini, Brussels sprouts, eggplant or spinach)
1 tbsp light soy sauce
250g bean sprouts
Method :
Place
noodles in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave for 5
minutes. Pour the garlic and chilies together in a small mortar and
pestle. (Remove chilli seeds if you don't like hot foods, but wear
disposable gloves and don't touch your eyes.).
Heat oil in
wok or large pan; stir-fry chili, onion and pork, tossing until pork
is brown (about 5 minutes). Add vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4
minutes. Add soy sauce, bean sprouts and drained noodles; toss
together until heated through.
Fat per serve : 7 grams.
