Rich Chocolate Fudge Recipe
Recipe : Rich Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients :
200g raisins
1/4 cup sweet sherry
1 1/2 cups white plain flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sweetened condensed skim milk
1/4 cup Carnation light evaporated milk
6 egg whites
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup Splenda artificial sweetener powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method :
Spray a 25cm x 32cm baking dish with vegetable oil spray. Soak
raisins in sherry and set aside for 30 minutes.
Blend
flour, cocoa, oats and baking powder together. In a separate bowl
combine milks and the vanilla essence. Add the raisins and sherry to
the milk mixture.
Whop egg
whites until almost stiff. Slowly add the brown sugar and artificial
sweetener (1/4 cup at a time) to the egg whites. Beat together until
thick.
Stir the
milk mixture into the flour mixture. Stir 1/4 of the egg white
mixture into this batter then add the remaining egg white mixture
and fold in well. Spoon into the prepared baking pan. Bake at 190C
for 30 minutes.
