Frozen Orange Mango Yoghurt Recipe
Recipe : Frozen Orange Mango Yoghurt
Ingredients :
2 mangoes
1/2 cup orange juice concentrate
1 kg no-fat natural yoghurt
Mango Sauce:
2 mangoes
2 tbsp lime juice
Method :
Peel
mangoes, cut as much flesh off seeds as possible. Place flesh in
food processor, add juice and yoghurt. Process until well combined.
Pour into an ice-cream churn and freeze. If you don't have an
ice-cream churn, pour into a cake tin and freeze until just firm
around the edges. Remove from freezer and beat until smooth. Return
to freezer until firm. Remove from freezer and place in refrigerator
section 1 hour before serving. Serve scoops with Mango sauce.
To make
mango sauce: Peel mangoes, cut as much flesh off seed as possible.
In food processor or blender, combine mango with lime juice.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Fat per serve : 0 grams
Note: This will taste extra creamy made in an
ice-cream churn. If you don't have one, freezing and beating by hand
is worth the effort.
